Who are we?

Corvo Branco is an informal group of enthusiasts for strategy games and modeling.

Its main objective is to promote and disseminate this hobby through national events, as well as to support various stores in organizing local events.

It is based on the principle that organized events should have recognized prestige and exemplary organization (similar to what is done in the best and largest international tournaments).

How it started...

Corvo Branco was born from a group of players who felt the need for national Warhammer Fantasy events, something that did not exist in Portugal until then.

Thus, in 2005, the 1st Tournament – Batalha de Corvos – was born, with the participation of 36 players.

In these 19 years...

In 2007, we were handed over the torch for one of the most iconic miniature events, the GTS (Grande Torneio do Sul), which we organized until 2010 and participated in 2013 and 2015.

In addition to the annual Batalha de Corvos event, we started organizing another annual event in 2011, this time for Warhammer 40K, called 40Korvos.

In 2014, age began to weigh, and we unified the two events into one. In 2016, we opened the event to other systems beyond Warhammer. Altogether, we have had about 15 different game systems from various brands over the years.

Since 2005, approximately 250 players have registered a thousand times in what we want to be a celebration of our miniature games hobby. A big thank you to everyone!
